PADUCAH, Ky. (05.10.10) - The Bethel Wildcats baseball team earned recognition for their efforts in the classroom and on the field. Bethel had 10 players earn Scholar Athlete honors and eight earned honors for their on the field performance.
 

TranSouth Scholar Athletes are made up of sophomores, juniors and seniors with at least a 3.0 GPA. NAIA Scholar Athletes are juniors, seniors and graduate students with at least a 3.5 GPA. For the NAIA honor, the student-athlete must be in attendance at the nominating institution for one full academic year.

Jordan Smith

Jay Lowery also met the NAIA criteria.

On the field, those earning honors were:

SECOND TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE

Outfield - Johnathan Deberry

Starting Pitcher - Turner Cripps

Starting Pitcher - Colby Fitzpatrick

Designated Hitter -Courtney Hardaway
