"Chris is a great Christian student-athlete who will represent Bethel very well," said Bethel Head Baseball Coach Rusty Thompson. "His versatility will be huge asset for us defensively. Offensively, he will hit in the middle of the order and be counted on to drive in runs."
Cain played three years at Cullman High School and two years at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Ala. He was a member of the Class 5A State Championship team in 2007. He was also selected First Team All-State as a catcher in 2007. Cullman was the state runner-ups in 2006.
He chose Bethel because he liked the atmosphere and it was a program that fits the way he plays the game.
