Haskell has been a starter for the last two years at Hardin Valley Academy. He has also been a member of the Knoxville Football Club from 2008-2010. Prior to playing at Hardin Valley, Haskell played at George Washington High School in Charleston, W.V. In junior high, Haskell played in Europe for GYAK, the Gyongyos, Hungary All-Star Team. Haskell was his team's MVP and earned All-District and All-Region honors.
"Justin is a fantastic talent," said Bethel Head Men's Soccer Coach Melvin Belong. "He has a solid technical knowledge of the game combined with his sublime skills and technique. I look forward to him coming in and making an immediate impact as a freshman."
Haskell credits much of his success to playing at a high level in Europe. He has played in Austria and Germany while on the GYAK team.
In two years at Hardin Valley, Haskell scored 24 goals with 18 assists.
Haskell was being recruited by Trevecca Nazarene University and Delta State University. He chose Bethel because he liked the size of the school, the classroom sizes and programs offered. He also stated that the soccer program was a huge draw and that he is excited about playing for Coach Belong.
