MCKENZIE, Tenn. (06.18.10)- The Bethel Wildcats stayed close to home with the signing of Milan High School shortstop Eric Todd Thursday. Todd was a four year starter for the Dogs.

He hit .402 for Milan and hit eight home runs with 42 runs driven in. He also had 12 stolen bases for the Bulldogs. He was all-District, defensive MVP, and a member of the .400 club as a senior. He was member of the All-Academic squad his senior year.

Todd feels hard work; experience and determination are his strengths.

Todd believes Bethel gives him the best opportunity to achieve his degree and play baseball as well. He will be a Physical Therapy major.

He is the son of Bob and Phyllis Todd of Milan.

Bethel Coach Rusty Thompson commented on Todd's signing. "We are excited about Eric's decision to further his education and career at Bethel. He is an exciting player from a winning program. He knows how to win"
