Coach Chris Nelson's Lady Wildcat basketball camp is underway at Bethel University.  Several dozen campers from the Mid-South area  showed up at Baker Fieldhouse Monday morning.

Fundamentals and drills will be taught throughout the week by Coach Nelson and his staff. An added treat for the campers is the presence of many of the Lady Wildcat players who are serving as coaches.

Camp for grades 3-5 is every day between 8:30-12:00, while grades 6-9 camp is being held every afternoon from 1:00-4:30. Over 100 campers will participate during the camps which end Friday afternoon.

Coach Nelson is pleased with the opportunity to instruct the young ladies from all over the area. " We are so happy for the chance to work with these young ladies. We stress the fundamentals of how to become a better player but we also put emphasis on sportsmanship and in being a team player." Nelson added, " We also do not forget to make it fun for them with our camp. Our Lady Wildcat team really enjoys the opportunity to help, so we feel we get a lot accomphlished during the week."
