
McKenzie, Tenn.(06.25.10) - Bethel Head Coach Clay Boyd added another standout to his bowling program Thursday. He signed Arlington High School's Matthew Schultz.
Schultz averaged 200 as a senior at AHS. He was the team captain and MVP. He also was the League Champion in 2008 and held the highest average in the league.
One of the highlights of the season was when he bowled a series of 706.
The Criminal Justice Major is the son of Johnny and Evelyn Schultz.
He fell in love with Bethel when he visited the campus.
Coach Boyd commented on the signing, "Matt is very talented and I like his passion for our sport. He will be a fine student athlete at our school.
