Four former Wildcat basketball players competed  in the Iowa Basketball League this month. The league develops  college athletes for international teams and the NBA's development league.
 
Leon Sewell averaged 17.5 points and 7.3 rebounds per game for the Central Iowa Hybrids. Antoine Lesesene averaged 14.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per contest for the Des Moines Hydrogen. Dontaye Hinton averaged 14.3 points and three boards per game for the Hydrogen. Leroy Bell averaged 5.0 points and 7.3 assist per game for the Hybrids.
 
Bell said it was a great experience for all of the players. " It was a great experience to play in the league. We competed against players from all over the nation." Bell added, " I was able to learn how to play a pro style of basketball that hopefully will help me as I move futher in my career of playing professional basketball."
 
Bethel Coach Jeff Britt commented, " I am happy for all of these guys. They deserve a chance to move on. They are good people who have the talent to play at the next level."
