Jennifer Sturm is a second year coach for track and field throws and first year for jumps. Jennifer threw the hammer at California State University, Chico from 2002-2007. She took third in the CCAA track and field championships in 2006. She finished her career with a best throw of 152'5 and is currently ranked in the top 10 at CSU Chico.

Jennifer graduated from Chico with a BS in exercise physiology and continued to graduate school in Omaha, NE, where she earned her master's in Health, Physical Education and Recreation with a concentration in Athletic Training. She is currently a full-time athletic trainer at Bethel.
