BIG BASS BLAST INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT

RULES & REGULATIONS

 1. This is a partner tournament. You may fish with or without a partner. No more than 2 to a boat.

 2. The winning team will be determined by the total weight, deemed by the tournament officials.

 3. There will be a five fish limit. Only Largemouth, Smallmouth, & Kentucky Spotted Bass will be weighed. – NO EXCEPTIONS

 4. The Golden Rule will be the official measuring board used.

 5. There will be a 4 ounce penalty per dead fish. The penalty for a short fish will be the loss of your biggest fish.

 6. Artificial lures only are permitted. There will be no motor trolling.

 7. ALL competitors must come to the pre-tournament meeting at 6:00 p.m. on April 9th at the Wildcat Stadium in McKenzie, Tn. Food

will be provided starting at 6:00p.m. Address: 325 Cherry Avenue, McKenzie, Tn 38201

 8. Live wells will be checked by Tournament Officials prior to the start of the tournament.

 9. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.

10. There will be TWO divisions in the tournament; Collegiate Anglers and the Non-Collegiate Anglers.

11. Collegiate Anglers ARE allowed to compete on the Non-Collegiate Anglers side. HOWEVER, Non-Collegiate Anglers are NOT

allowed to compete on the Collegiate Anglers side.

12. Entry Fee for ALL Collegiate Anglers will be $50 plus another $25 if you wish to compete in the Big Bass Hourly Prize.

13. Entry fee for Non-Collegiate Anglers will be $100 plus another $25 if you wish to compete in the Big Bass Hourly Prize.

14. $200 will be awarded every hour between 8:00a.m.-1:00p.m. to the biggest bass weighed-in that hour.

15. Once a bass is weighed during those hours it will automatically go toward that boats final weight and will be released. If you

weigh-in a fish during the hourly contest you can only bring four fish to the final weigh-in; if you weigh-in two during the hourly

contest you can only bring three fish to the final weigh-in, and so on.

16. You will still have the total five fish weight in competition to win the first place prize.

17. BOTH divisions can compete in the hourly contest.

I am enclosing this completed application with the entry fee (non-refundable) payable to the Bethel University Bass Fishing Team. I hereby waive and release the Bethel University and its employees, tournament officials, sponsors and all other competitors from all claims, demands or causes of action whatsoever resulting from my participation prior to the awarding of any prize. All applicants under the age of 18 must have a parent’s or guardian’s signature.
