Head Coach Starla Cupples enters her third year at the helm of the Lady Wildcats. The Lexington, TN native began her career at Bethel College as a student-athlete in the fall of 1999. The 1999 graduate from Lexington High School joined the Lady Wildcats Volleyball and Softball teams as a freshman.

Cupples majored in Kinesiology/Physical Education in her undergraduate studies. On the softball field, she took the outfielder position where she earned second-team All-Conference two years. In her junior and senior years, Cupples held a 400+ batting average. On the court, Starla played the outside hitter and opposite positions.

As a graduate assistant in 2004, Cupples worked under the guidance of Head Coach Malissa Vaughn. Then, in 2005, Starla took the reigns to lead the Lady Wildcats in her first season as head coach. In 2006, Cupples led the Lady Wildcats to their best season record in school history (15-22).

Starla Cupples is married to Kevin Cupples and they reside in McKenzie, TN.
