After graduating at Lambuth, McKinney attended the University of Tennessee at Martin where he received his Master’s in Education. While there he coached club soccer in Martin and helped coach the Martin-Westview Charger boy’s soccer team.

 

He obtained a USSF-D soccer license and most recently coached the girl’s and boy’s soccer teams at Madison Academic in Jackson, Tenn. While coaching at Madison Academic, both the boy’s and the girl’s teams won their District and Region championships. He also spent time coaching club soccer for the Jackson Soccer Club.

McKinney hopes to keep the Lady Wildcats program as one of the premiere programs in the country.
