Oakey Gaskill enters his 4th year coaching for the Wildcats. Coach Gaskill will be coaching the infielders and hitters in the 2008 season. Originally from Lewisburg, TN, he is a 2000 graduate of Marshall County High School where he played under legendary Coach Joe George. After high school, Coach Gaskill played 4 years at Bethel College for Coach Glenn Hayes. While playing at Bethel, he lead his team in homeruns and was honored as Team MVP and Captain. He also received All Conference honors in his senior year at Bethel. Coach Gaskill holds the single season school record for walks (44) and fewest errors by an infielder (Min 35 games). In December 2005, he received his Bachelor of Science in Health: Physical Education. He is currently student teaching at Bruceton Elementary School and will graduate with his Masters of Arts in Education this spring.
