The junior varsity football Cats will open their season Monday at Wildcat Stadium against Cumberland University. Kick-off is slated for 4 p.m.

The Cats were to play a four game schedule but a game with Cumberland later in the year is as of now the only other game scheduled. Shepherd College of Memphis informed Bethel Wednesday they had dropped their football program. Games against that team scheduled for September 20 and October 18 will not be played. The Bethel coaching staff is working to schedule games with other opponents. There will be updates posted if that happens.
