Arkansas Youth Bass Nation Angler Cole Pennington is officially committed to Bethel University
BEE BRANCH, Ark. - From day one on the AYBN Tournament Trail, Cole Pennington has been a standout — not just because of his talent, but because of the dedication, discipline, and heart he brings to the sport. He's earned over $80,000 in combined tournament winnings and scholarships, and has consistently proven himself as one of the top high school anglers in the country.
Cole's achievements speak volumes: he's a Bassmaster All-State Team member and the only angler in Arkansas history to win the Arkansas Game and Fish Commissioners Cup as a solo competitor two years in a row. That kind of success doesn't happen by accident - it comes from years of early mornings, countless hours on the water, and a relentless drive to be the best.
Bethel University is gaining not just a champion on the water, but a leader and role model off of it.
"We are very proud to have signed Cole and look forward to seeing him compete at the college level", said Bethel Coach Garry Mason.
