Union City’s Cha ‘Nyah Liphford Signs with Bethel’s Track Program

UNION CITY, Tenn. – Coach Brandon Kilburn announced earlier this week the signing of Union City High School 's Cha 'Nyah Liphford. She is the daughter of Charles Liphford and Brittany Jones of Union City and will major in Physical Therapy.

Cha 'Nyah ran track all four years at UCHS. She placed sixth in the TSSAA State 4x200 and in doing so broke the school record. She was named Kiwanis   Student of the Month.

Liphford feels her biggest strengths are her determination and her passion in competing at a high level.

Coach Kilburn expressed his excitement about the signing. "Cha 'Nya is a terrific addition to our program. She has an excellent high school career and we look forward to seeing her continue that success at the college level."
