Bio

Dave McCulley has served in multiple roles at Bethel University since 2010, including Sports Information Director, Interim Athletic Director, and Radio & TV Broadcaster. In 2025, he was named the university’s Senior Associate Athletic Director of Communications.

Before joining Bethel, McCulley was the voice of Lambuth University athletics beginning in 1993, where he also served as Sports Information Director and Assistant Athletic Director until 2010. He twice held the position of Interim Athletic Director at Lambuth.

In addition to his collegiate work, McCulley has been the radio and video broadcaster for Trinity Christian Academy in Jackson since 2006. Over the course of his career, he has called more than 3,000 sporting events on radio and television.

A respected figure in Tennessee sports, McCulley is a member of both the Lambuth University Athletic Hall of Fame and the Gibson County Sports Hall of Fame.

He was married to the late Peggy Carter McCulley. He currently resides in Jackson, Tennessee. His son Jeremy lives in Nashville, and his daughter Laura also resides in Jackson.

At Bethel, McCulley and his staff oversee communications for 21 varsity sports as well as coverage of the university’s club and developmental athletic programs.
