Mid-South Conference Baseball Tournament Bracket Announced Cats Play Tuesday in Elimination Game

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The 2026 Mid-South Conference Baseball Tournament bracket has been announced following today's conference's regular-season finales.

The tournament begins on Tuesday, April 28, with the championship game slated for Saturday, May 2. The tournament will be played at Bowling Green Ballpark, home of the Hot Rods.

Cumberlands (Ky.) is the top seed in the conference tournament after posting a 16-2 conference record en route to the regular-season championship. The Patriots (40-6) await the winner of the single-elimination game, which kicks off the tournament on Tuesday.

Sixth-seeded Bethel (Tenn.) (11-28, 5-13 in the MSC) and seventh-seeded Georgetown (Ky.) (14-31, 4-14) meet in Tuesday's elimination game. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. CT.

The Wildcats swept their three-game series versus the Tigers in late March in McKenzie.  

The double elimination bracket begins on Wednesday with top-seeded Cumberlands taking on the Bethel-Georgetown winner at 11 a.m. CT.

No. 2-seed Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) (29-19, 10-7) faces No. 5-seed Campbellsville (Ky.) (26-21, 6-12) at 2:30 p.m. CT, and third-seeded Cumberland (Tenn.) (23-25, 10-8) meets fourth-seeded Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) (19-28, 9-9) in Wednesday's final game at 6 p.m. CT.

The tournament continues on Thursday and Friday with the championship game slated for Saturday.

The MSC tournament champion receives the conference's automatic bid into the NAIA National Tournament.
