Bethel’s Devious Christmon Invited to Colts Rookie Mini Camp

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Bethel Cornerback Devious Christmon is the latest Wildcat to sign to play or have the opportunity to play professional football. Christmon has accepted an invitation to the Indianapolis Colts Rookie Mini Camp.

The Colts will host the camp on either May 5-8 or May 12-15.

Devious is the fifth Wildcat since the record setting 2022 season ended to have the opportunity to play at the next level.

Christmon was a Mid-South Conference First Team All-Conference selection last year. He had 44 total tackles and two interceptions.

The former Centennial High School standout from Franklin, Tennessee had 14 career interceptions as a Wildcat. The 6'2 187 cornerback is second all-time in career interceptions, only behind former Bethel great and Hall-of Famer Hunter Pingston who had 16.

Bethel Head Coach Michael Jasper expressed his thoughts about Devious and the opportunity. "I have had the pleasure of knowing this young man from the time I started recruiting him until he got the call to continue his dreams. He has worked tirelessly for this opportunity, and I cannot wait to see all he accomplishes moving forward."
