Bethel’s Clutch Named MSC Football Player of the Week

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Bethel's (Tenn.) Zachary Clutch is the Mid-South Conference Special Teams Football Player of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.

 MSC Football Special Teams Player of the Week

Zachary Clutch – Bethel (Tenn.) – So. – Punter/Kicker – Bartlett, Tenn.

Clutch scored eight points in Bethel's 26-23 overtime win over No. 16-ranked Georgetown (Ky.) on Saturday.

 He connected on a 41-yard field goal with three seconds remaining in regulation to send the game to overtime.

 Earlier in the game, Clutch made a career-best 47-yard field goal.

 He added a pair of extra points in the win.

  Clutch has hit 6-of-7 field goals and 15-of-17 extra points to amass 33 points this season.

  Clutch earns his first weekly conference honor of the season.
