Bassmasters on Campus Filming Segment on Bethel’s Bass Program

MCKENZIE, Tenn.- Bethel Bass Coach Garry Mason and the Bass Cats welcomed the Bassmasters film crew to the Bethel campus Monday.

 Bassmasters is doing a tour of the campus and doing a feature on the program which won 13 national titles and 19 state and regional championships since 2009.  Bethel won eight national titles in 2018-19 alone. 

Mason stated, "We are thrilled the Bassmasters crew is here today and tomorrow. They are interviewing several of our team players and highlighting our legendary program. We are honored to have Bassmasters visit our campus and look forward to watching the completed program on our Wildcat B.A.S.S. team."  

Kyle Jessie of Bassmasters said, "I along with Logan Crumley of B.A.S.S. are excited to shoot a segment of the 'Behind the Curtain' sponsored by Mercury Marine video series to highlight Bethel University's fishing program. The objective of the video series is to shed light on what the experience is like getting to fish collegiately for a historic program that has had such an impact on college fishing and the sport as a whole."
