Bio

Christopher Beck is a Student Assistant Coach for the Bethel University men’s basketball program. A 2024 graduate of McKenzie High School in McKenzie, Tennessee, Beck played four years under Coach John Wilkins before multiple injuries led him to transition into coaching earlier than planned.

Beck began his coaching career in the fall of 2023 while still a senior in high school. He spent two seasons at McKenzie Middle School, serving as an assistant boys basketball coach and the head coach of the junior varsity team. In the spring of 2024, he further expanded his experience by founding a developmental travel basketball program, where he served as head coach.

Now entering his second year as a Student Assistant Coach at Bethel University, Beck is grateful for the opportunity to work alongside Coach Britt and Coach Barnes. He is committed to continuing his growth as a basketball coach, leader, and person during his time with the Wildcats.

Christopher is the son of Michael and Shannon Beck and resides in McKenzie, Tennessee.
