BLUE MOUNTAIN, Miss. — The Bethel Wildcats hit the road Monday night and made the trip worthwhile, earning a convincing 90–71 victory over Blue Mountain Christian. The win lifts Bethel to 2–1 on the young season and marks their first road win of the year.

Bethel led 45–29 at halftime and never looked back, matching their first-half output with another 45 points in the second. The Wildcats shot an efficient 52.3% from the field and controlled the boards with a 47–23 rebounding advantage.

The Wildcats dominated the paint with a 48–24 scoring edge and added 23 second-chance points on 18 offensive rebounds. Joe Wimberly chipped in nine points, while Taylor Stovall and Ethan Turner added six and seven, respectively, to round out Bethel's balanced attack.
Blue Mountain Christian (1–2) was led by Michael Hill's 15 points and Kam Carter's 14, but the Toppers struggled to slow Bethel's inside game despite a strong showing at the free-throw line (28-for-33).
With the win, Bethel continues to find its rhythm early in the season under Head Coach Jeff Britt. The Wildcats will once again pack their bags this weekend for two more neutral-site contests in the Jim Reid Classic at Georgetown College, facing Midway on Friday, Nov. 14 at 5:00 PM CST, followed by a matchup against WVU Tech on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 2:00 PM CST.
Bethel looks to keep its momentum rolling as the Wildcats continue their early-season road stretch.
