Soccer Cats Host Lindsey Wilson in Conference Semi-finals
MCKENZIE, Tenn. – Coming off a thrilling and tension filled 2-1 overtime win in the MSC Quarterfinals over Georgetown, the No. 14 Bethel Wildcats remain at home to face the No. 5 Lindsey Wilson Blue Raiders Wednesday in the conference semi-finals.
Action at Walter Butler Stadium is slated to begin on the pitch at 6 p.m.
The Blue Raiders escaped the upset bid at home in the quarterfinals against Freed-Hardeman beating the Lions 2-1 in Columbia.
The Cats are 10-1-2 with their only loss at Lindsey Wilson earlier in the year. The Blue Raiders won 3-1. Bethel has won two I a row since dropping that match on October 21.
After suffering two straight losses in early October the Raiders have won four in a row and are 12-2-1.
It will be the 15th meeting between the two programs with LWC holding a 10-3-1 advantage in the series. The Blue Raiders have won four of the last five in the series.
