Bethel’s Souleymane Balde Named to 2025 NAIA Men's Soccer All-Americans Team-Horace Avila Jr. Named to Third Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2025 NAIA Men's Soccer All-America teams on Monday, after the competition of the National Championship in Orange Beach, Ala. Kevin Ventura of Grand View (Iowa) was named the NAIA Men's Soccer Player of the Year.

The NAIA All-America committee consists of the NAIA-Men's Soccer Coaches Association Executive Committee, and four men's soccer coaches representing different regions of the association. 

Bethel (Ind.) and Life (Ga.) paced the list with four award winners apiece, followed by six institutions with three honorees each, including Oklahoma Wesleyan, Grand View (Iowa), Ottawa (Kan.), William Carey (Miss.), Indiana Tech, and Cumberlands (Ky.

The 2025 Select Sport America-NAIA Men's Soccer National Coach of the Year will be announced on January 15.

Bethel's Souleymane Balde was named to the first team while teammate Horace Avila Jr. was named to the third team.

Balde led the Cats in scoring with 14 goals. He also added five assists.

Avila Jr. scored eight goals and a team leading nine assists.
