Men’s Tennis Tournament Bracket Released

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- The 2026 Mid-South Conference Men's Tennis Tournament Bracket was announced by conference officials on Monday ahead of this weekend's conference tournament.

The tournament is scheduled to begin with three quarterfinal matches on Friday, April 17, at the Warren County Tennis Facility at Michael O. Buchanon Park in Bowling Green. The tournament semifinals are scheduled for Saturday, with the finals on Sunday.

Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) (13-2) is the tournament's top seed after winning the regular-season title with a 6-0 record. The Blue Raiders earn a bye into Saturday's semifinals.

Cumberlands (Ky.) (14-7, 5-1 in the MSC) is the No. 2 seed in the tournament and faces No. 7-seed Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) (2-13, 0-6) at 1 p.m. CT in one of the three quarterfinals on Friday.

Three teams tied for third place in the regular-season standings with identical 3-3 conference marks.

Using the conference's tiebreaker system, Bethel (Tenn.) is the No. 3 seed, Cumberland (Tenn.) is the No. 4 seed, and Campbellsville (Ky.) is the No. 5 seed.

The top two tiebreakers did not break the three-way tie, forcing the third tiebreaker of winning percentage against common non-conference opponents. To date, all three teams have only one common non-conference opponent, Tennessee Southern.

Bethel has a 1.000 winning percentage, Cumberland has a .500 winning percentage, and Campbellsville has a .000 winning percentage against Tennessee Southern this season.

With Bethel earning the No. 3 seed, the tiebreaker system starts over with Campbellsville and Cumberland. Since Cumberland beat Campbellsville in a head-to-head match -- the first tiebreaker -- Cumberland earns the No. 4 seed, and Campbellsville is the No. 5 seed.

Cumberland (7-12) and Campbellsville (10-8) meet in the first quarterfinal match on Friday at 10 a.m. CT with the winner advancing to play Lindsey Wilson in Saturday's first semifinal.

Bethel (11-7) meets No. 6 seed Georgetown (Ky.) (8-11, 1-5) in the final quarterfinal on Friday at 4 p.m. CT.

The Bethel-Georgetown winner faces the Cumberlands-Freed-Hardeman winner in the second semifinal on Saturday.

The championship match is scheduled for 3 p.m. CT on Sunday.

Lindsey Wilson is the reigning MSC Tournament champion. The Blue Raiders beat Cumberland 4-1 in last season's tournament.

The tournament champion receives the conference's automatic bid into the NAIA National Championship in May in Mobile, Alabama.
