Fifteen Bethel Softball Players Named All-America Scholar Athletes

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bethel University softball program had 15 players recognized by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association as 2020-21 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athletes, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.

Congratulations to Melanie Alexander, Madeleine Cochran, Macey Cox, Darcie Gibson, Kennedy Gillespie, Leah Hayes, Anna Johnson, Jenna Love, Ashtyn Manley, Lexee Miller, Brittney Minor, Cassidy Payne, Kayla Reed, Alexis Wheeler, and Madison White.

To qualify for All-America Scholar Athlete honors, student-athletes must have posted a 3.5 or greater grade point average on a 4.0 scale, cumulative of the Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 semesters.
