Bethel’s Alexis Wheeler & Wildcat Softball Team Honored by Xtreme Squad
LINDEN, Tenn. – The impact Bethel University student-athletes have on young lives was clearly evident recently when the Xtreme softball team in Perry County (TN) honored Bethel senior softball player Alexis Wheeler and the Lady Wildcats. Wheeler helps coach the team which decided during a Halloween tournament to dress as Bethel softball players.
Mrs. Angel Moore is the school counselor at Perry County High School who is one of Bethel's dual enrollment partners. Her daughter, Zoe, is a pitcher on the team. Mrs. Moore shared the information to Bethel's Director of Dual Enrollment and Operations, Craig Lunn. Lunn serves as an umpire at softball tournaments on the weekends and shared the story with the Bethel Sports Information Department.
Good Luck to the Xtreme squad and thanks for sharing and honoring the Bethel Lady Wildcats. We hope the team can be our special guest and be honored at one of our games this Spring.
