Melanie Alexander Named MSC Softball Player of the Week

MSC Softball Player of the Week

Melanie Alexander – Bethel (Tenn.) – Sr. – Outfielder - Lexington, Tenn.

• Alexander batted .538 and drove in seven runs in a four-game sweep of Pikeville.
• She recorded multiple hits in two of the four games.
• Alexander had three games where she recorded at least two RBIs.
• She recorded five doubles and posted a slugging percentage of .923.
• Alexander earns her first weekly honor this season and second in her career.
