Lady Cats Finish Third in TWU Spring Invite
NIOTA, Tenn. –Leading after the first round on Monday in the TWU Spring Invite, the Bethel Lady Wildcats could not sustain their momentum Tuesday slipping to third in the seven-team field. Reinhardt won the event at 80 over par. Bethel finished at plus 82.
The event was held at the Springbrook Golf and Country Club in Niota, Tennessee. The par 72, 5, 839 yard layout proved to be a tough task for the field on Tuesday.
Albane Le Helloco led Bethel with rounds of 80, 81 and tied for seventh at 19 over. Durbin Chacon finished eighth with efforts of 78 and 86. Tessa Myers shot 84 and 82 to come in at 12th. Hope Homar had rounds of 84 and 84 and tied for 19th. Sasha Guinsboro finished tied for 28th after rounds of 83 and 90. Samantha McCaslin finished 40th.
