Lady Cats Finish Eighth in MSC Women’s Golf Championship in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats finished eighth in the Mid-South Conference Women's Golf Championship which concluded at the Bowling Green Country Club in Bowling Green, Kentucky Tuesday.

Eleven teams and 54 players competed on the par 72 - 5801-yard layout.

The championship got off to a late start Monday due to inclement weather. Play was suspended midway through the second round. The teams completed their second round early Tuesday and played the last 18 holes of the 54-hole tournament Tuesday afternoon.

The Lady Cats were plus 141.

Albane Le Helloco led the Bethel team with rounds of 87, 76, and 82. Albane was 29 over par. Helloco finished 22nd in the field.

Tessa Myers had rounds of 85, 85 and 84. She finished at plus 38 and tied for 29th.

Durbin Chacon shot 84, 86, 84 and finished at 38 over. She tied for 29th along with Myers.

Sasha Guinsborg shot 80, 91, 87 and was 42 over. She tied for 35th.

Hope Homar had efforts of 82, 90, 89 and was 45 over par. She came in 39th in the tournament.

The University of the Cumberlands won the event at 37 over par.

UC's Maria Neira was the medalist at plus four.
