Lady Wildcats Finish Second in Skyhawks Fall Invitational

LANETT, Ala. – The Bethel Wildcats fought the 16th ranked team in the nation down to the wire before falling to Truett McConnel by five strokes over 36 holes in the Skyhawks Fall Invitational which was played at the Point University Golf Course in Lanett, Alabama.

Bethel had a one stroke lead after round one with a score of 304. The Cats shot 315 in round two.

Bethel placed second in the nine-team field.

Bethel's Merle Chacon finished in the top five with efforts of 72-79. Chacon was named to the all-tournament squad.

Martina Gonzales finished sixth with rounds of 77 and 76.
