Coach Misty Aird (265-179-27) enters her 26th season as head coach of Bethel women's soccer in 2025-26.
She ranks 11th in wins among active women's soccer coaches in the NAIA and is the all-time winningest female coach in NAIA women's soccer history.
Before joining the TranSouth Conference, she led the Lady Wildcats to six consecutive KIAC championships. Bethel was Region XII champion in 2003, 2004 and 2005. Under Aird's direction, the program has qualified for six NAIA national tournaments (2003, 2004, 2005, 2019, 2020 and 2023). Bethel's best finish came in 2004, when the team advanced to the national quarterfinals.
Coach Aird reached the 100-win plateau in 2006 and won her 200th game at Bethel in 2017. She was named KIAC Coach of the Year in 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004 and 2005. She received the NAIA Region XII Coach of the Year award in 2003 and 2004.
Aird holds a bachelor's degree from Bartlesville Wesleyan ('97) and Missouri Valley College ('99). She was awarded her master's degree from Bethel College in 2001 and received her endorsement in health and human performance from UT Martin in 2007.
Coach Aird resides in McKenzie with her husband Matt and three children, Maggie, Gracie and Zachery.
