Bethel’s Sofia Canto Earns NAIA Third Team All-America Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Bethel University women's tennis standout Sofia Canto has been named a NAIA Third Team All-American, recognizing her outstanding performance during the 2025-26 season.

A native of Pueblo, Mexico, Canto completed her junior campaign with an impressive 17-2 singles record, helping lead the Wildcats throughout the season. She also earned First Team All-Mid-South Conference honors for her exceptional play.

Bethel head coach Derrick Hubble praised Canto's dedication and character.

"Sofia is a joy to work with," Hubble said. "She is an outstanding person who demands excellence from herself both on the tennis court and in the classroom. I feel blessed to coach her, and we look forward to having her back and working with her again next season."

Canto's All-America selection adds another prestigious honor to an already impressive collegiate career and highlights her continued success as one of the top players in the NAIA.
