Volley Cats Sweep FHU Friday in Crisp Arena
MCKENZIE, Tenn. - The Bethel Lady Wildcats jumped back into league play hosting Freed-Hardeman Friday. It was the first of six straight home matches for the Cats.
Bethel moved to 5-6 overall and 1-1 with a 3-0 sweep of the Lions. The Cats won 25-21, 25-17, and 25-15.
Sara Ulrich led Bethel with 16 digs. Katie Pennington had 12 digs. Kenndi Morrison had a team high nine kills. Camila Sandoval had a game high 16 assists. Mackenzie McCammon followed with 11 assists.
FHU fell to 11-7 and 0-2 in the league.
It marked the 48th meeting between the two programs. Bethel has won six in a row in the series and has a 25-23 advantage between the two.
Bethel will play host to Williams Baptist Tuesday at 6 p.m.
