Volley Cats Fall at Lindsey Wilson

COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Bethel Lady Wildcats fell to the (RV) Lindsey Wilson Blue Raiders, falling 3-1 in Columbia Friday night.

The Cats took the first set, winning 25-17. They fell 13-25, and 21-25 in the next two sets. Bethel fought to the bitter end, extending LWC to the limit before falling 26-28 in the fourth set.

Kennedi Morrison led Bethel with 14 kills and 13 digs. Camila had 21 assists. Clara Sestini had 17 digs while Katie Pennington was solid as always with 14 kills and 11 digs.

The Wildcats dropped to 9- 13 overall and 3-6 in the MSC.

LWC improved to 26-9 and 7-3.

The Cats stay in the Commonwealth making the short trip to Campbellsville to face the Tigers on Saturday at 1 p.m.
