Bethel’s Perini Named Mid-South Conference Men’s Tennis Player of the Week

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bethel's (Tenn.) Gabriel Perini has been named the Mid-South Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Pinnacle Financial Partners sponsors the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Pinnacle Financial Partners was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with banks in eight states in the southeast United States.

• Perini posted a 3-1 record in both singles and doubles last week.
• He helped the Wildcats to five wins last week, including beating No. 22-ranked Cumberland (Tenn.).
• Perini won his three matches on the third-seeded court, including a pair in a third set. His lone loss came in the third set.
• Perini earns his first weekly conference honor of the season.
